- 300g Chicken Tenderloin (recommended for a tender texture)
- 4-5 Lettuce Leaves (adds a refreshing crunch)
- 1 Tomato (for a burst of fresh flavor)
- 1/4 Apple (adds sweetness and tanginess)
- 2-3 Tbsp Mayonnaise (adjust to your taste)
- 2-3 Tbsp Honey Mustard Sauce (a blend of sweetness and zest)
Chicken Marinade
- Pinch of Salt (for seasoning)
- Pinch of Black Pepper (for seasoning)
- Pinch of Ginger Powder (effective for removing gamey odor)
- Pinch of Herb Powder (rosemary, thyme, etc., to your preference)
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil (adds flavor and tenderizes the chicken)
- Pinch of Salt (for seasoning)
- Pinch of Black Pepper (for seasoning)
- Pinch of Ginger Powder (effective for removing gamey odor)
- Pinch of Herb Powder (rosemary, thyme, etc., to your preference)
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil (adds flavor and tenderizes the chicken)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, pat the chicken tenderloins dry. Then, sprinkle them evenly with salt, pepper, ginger powder, and herb powder for marination. Letting the chicken marinate for about 10 minutes will allow the flavors to penetrate better.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place the marinated chicken tenderloins in the hot pan and cook until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Once cooked, slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Step 3
Wash the tomato and slice it thinly or julienne it. Peel, core, and julienne the apple into similar-sized strips as the tomato. Preparing the vegetables this way will add a pleasant texture when you bite into the wrap.
Step 4
Warm the tortillas in a dry pan, flipping them once. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise evenly over the warmed tortilla. Be careful not to use too much mayonnaise, as it can make the wrap too rich.
Step 5
On one side of the tortilla, lay down the lettuce leaves. Generously top with the cooked and sliced chicken. Next, arrange the julienned tomato and apple. Finally, drizzle with honey mustard sauce to your liking. To prevent the filling from spilling out, fold in the sides of the tortilla first, then roll it up tightly.
Step 6
Honey mustard sauce can be a bit strong for young children. If serving to kids, consider using just ketchup or mayonnaise, or serve the sauce on the side. Adjust the sauces according to your preference and enjoy your delicious Chicken Tortilla Wrap!
