Create a wonderful rice bowl using pre-marinated tender bulgogi beef. This is a dish that children who love meat will especially enjoy! It’s easy to make, allowing you to savor restaurant-quality taste at home.
Main Ingredients- 100g thinly sliced beef (for bulgogi)
- 1/4 onion, thinly sliced
- A little green onion, chopped
Bulgogi Marinade- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp cooking wine (mirin or similar)
- A pinch of sugar (adjust to taste)
- A little sesame oil
- Sesame seeds, to taste (for garnish)
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp cooking wine (mirin or similar)
- A pinch of sugar (adjust to taste)
- A little sesame oil
- Sesame seeds, to taste (for garnish)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 Tbsp cooking wine, and a pinch of sugar. Gently mix to coat the meat. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes for the flavors to meld beautifully.
Step 2
Stir-fry Beef and Vegetables: Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until it’s almost cooked through. Then, add the sliced onions and chopped green onions. Continue to stir-fry until the vegetables are tender and the onions are translucent and slightly sweet. Cooking until the onions are tender is key.
Step 3
Finishing Touches: Just before turning off the heat, drizzle in a little sesame oil to enhance the aroma. Stir gently for a glossy finish.
Step 4
Serve as a Rice Bowl: Spoon the delicious bulgogi mixture generously over a bowl of warm steamed rice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. (Tip: If you have leftover omelet, gently reheating and serving it alongside is also a great idea!)
