Easy and Delicious Chicken Tender Chibap Recipe
Make a simple and satisfying chicken tender chibap at home. It’s a quick and easy meal perfect for busy days.
Main Ingredients- 5 pieces of chicken tenders (adjust quantity as desired)
- 1/4 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 200g cooked rice (about 1.5 bowls), warm
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the chicken tenders into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm. This makes them easier to eat with rice and helps the sauce penetrate better.

Peel and thinly slice the onion. Slicing it thinly will bring out its sweetness and give it a softer texture when cooked.
Step 3
Prepare your warm rice. If using pre-cooked rice, gently heat it in the microwave. Loosen the rice grains with chopsticks so they don’t clump together.

Heat a wide pan over high heat and add the butter and cooking oil. Once the pan is hot, add the sliced onions and the cut chicken tenders. Stir-fry vigorously over high heat until the onions are translucent and the chicken tenders are golden brown. High-heat stir-frying is key here!
Step 5
As soon as you can smell the sweet aroma of the onions, add the warm rice to the pan. Continue to stir-fry over high heat, allowing the rice grains to become fluffy and slightly crisp. Ensure each grain is coated with the oil.
Step 6
Once the rice is well-fried and loose in the pan, drizzle the soy sauce and corn syrup evenly over the mixture. Stir-fry quickly over high heat to ensure the sauce coats the rice and ingredients evenly. Cook until it has a glossy sheen and a delicious color. Your chibap is ready to serve!
