Pizza Ingredients

  • 4 strips of bacon, finely chopped
  • 150g mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Tbsp canned corn kernels
  • 6 black olives, thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • A pinch of black pepper

For Boiling Potatoes

  • 1 liter water
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 Tbsp salt

Cooking Instructions

Start by preparing the potatoes. In a pot, combine 1 liter of water with 1/3 tablespoon of salt.

Add 1/2 tablespoon of sugar to the water and bring it to a boil. Then, add the potatoes and cook until they are tender and easily pierced with a fork (about 20-25 minutes).

Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them thoroughly. While they are still warm, use a potato masher, the back of a ladle, or a fork to mash them until smooth and lump-free.

In a separate pan, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy and browned. Drain off most of the bacon fat, reserving about 2 tablespoons of the cooked bacon bits for topping.

Add the reserved cooked bacon bits (drained of excess fat) to the mashed potatoes.

Next, stir in 2 tablespoons of corn kernels.

Season the mixture with a pinch of black pepper for added flavor.
