Main Ingredients

  • 1kg Pork ribs, boneless (sliced)
  • 2/3 cup Soy sauce
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1 handful Green onions
  • 1/2 cup Pear juice (or pureed fresh pear)
  • Pinch of Black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, soak the boneless pork ribs in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove any blood. This step helps eliminate any gamey smell and allows the marinade to penetrate better.

Step 1

Step 2

In a large bowl or container for marinating, combine 2/3 cup of sugar, 2/3 cup of soy sauce, and 5 cups of water. Stir well to create the base of your marinade.

Step 2

Step 3

Add 1/2 cup of pear juice (using fresh pureed pear will enhance sweetness and flavor), 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to deepen the marinade’s taste.

Step 3

Step 4

Finely blend 1/2 onion and 1 handful of green onions in a blender. Pureeing fruits and vegetables like these tenderizes the meat and adds natural sweetness.

Step 4

Step 5

Add the blended onion and green onion mixture to the marinade base and stir until all ingredients are well combined. Rinse the pork ribs again under cold water to ensure all blood is removed, then pat them dry and immerse them completely in the special marinade.

Step 5

Step 6

Marinate the pork ribs in the refrigerator for at least one day for best results. Sufficient marinating time allows the flavors to fully penetrate the meat, resulting in an exceptional taste.

Step 6

Step 7

When grilling in a pan at home, lining it with parchment paper prevents the marinade from burning and makes cleanup easier. Grilling directly over charcoal at a campsite will add a wonderful smoky flavor, making the experience even more special! Enjoy your delicious meal!
