Main Ingredients

  • 1 King Oyster Mushroom
  • 4 heads of Bok Choy
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic (or 1 Tbsp minced garlic)

Seasoning

  • 1.5 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2/3 Tbsp Plum Extract (Maesil Syrup)
  • 1/3 Tbsp Ginger Syrup (or a pinch of ginger powder)
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, heat a pan over medium heat and add the sliced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, then add the sliced onion and stir-fry until the onion becomes translucent. This process helps to release the aromatic flavors of garlic and onion.

Once the onion has softened slightly, add the chopped bok choy stems (wash them thoroughly and cut into bite-sized pieces). Stir-fry quickly over high heat to maintain the crispiness of the bok choy. Keep the pan moving with a ‘shake, shake’ motion to ensure even cooking.

Now, add the sliced king oyster mushrooms and the bok choy leaves to the pan. Continue to stir-fry rapidly over high heat, just like before, to keep the vegetables fresh and crisp. Be careful not to overcook, as they can become mushy.
