Easy Air Fryer Grilled Intestine and Vegetable Skewers

We made a delicious grilled intestine and vegetable dish using our air fryer! This recipe is perfect for a quick and flavorful meal at home, offering crispy exteriors and juicy interiors.

Main Ingredients

  • 3 servings of cleaned beef intestines (Gopchang)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 potato
  • 1 handful of whole garlic cloves (about 10-15 cloves)
  • Rice cakes (Tteok, as much as you like, approx. 100g)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, rinse the intestines thoroughly under running water. Peel the onion and cut it into large chunks. Peel the potato and cut it into bite-sized pieces (about 2cm thick). Peel the whole garlic cloves. Rinse the rice cakes in cold water. Prepare all ingredients for cooking.

Place the prepared intestines, onion, potato, whole garlic, and rice cakes into the air fryer basket. Spread them out so they are not overlapping, ensuring even cooking. It’s important to leave space between the ingredients.

Set the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, carefully open the air fryer and flip all the ingredients. This step helps the intestines cook evenly and become golden brown. Return them to the air fryer and cook for another 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Finally, cut the intestines into bite-sized pieces. Place them back into the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 180°C (350°F). This will result in perfectly grilled intestines with a crispy outside and a tender, juicy inside!
