Main Ingredients

  • 600g Bulgogi-cut beef
  • 6-7 Shiitake mushrooms
  • 2 King oyster mushrooms
  • 1/2 stalk Green onion
  • 1 handful Glass noodles
  • 1 piece Radish
  • 4 Frozen dumplings
  • 1/2 Onion

Seasoning & Broth

  • 1 Tbsp Fish sauce
  • Pinch of black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, thinly slice the radish into bite-sized pieces. Peel and thinly slice the onion as well. Arrange these sliced radish and onion at the bottom of a wide pot. This will make the broth more refreshing and prevent the ingredients from sticking to the bottom.

Step 1

Step 2

Next, slice the mushrooms you have prepared into easy-to-eat pieces. Use the stems of the king oyster mushrooms and trim the base of the shiitake mushrooms. Around the edges of the pot, arrange the prepared mushrooms, frozen dumplings, and glass noodles (which have been soaked in water briefly). Place the bulgogi beef generously in the center of the pot. Finally, add the diagonally sliced green onions on top of the bulgogi for a nice presentation.

Step 2

Step 3

Pour just enough water into the pot with all the ingredients so they are slightly submerged. Don’t add too much water; just enough to cover the ingredients lightly. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and simmer until the beef is fully cooked. Once the beef is cooked, taste the broth and season with 1 tablespoon of fish sauce (or soy sauce). You can add sugar or minced garlic for extra flavor if you like. Finish with a pinch of black pepper for a delicious bulgogi hot pot.
