Main Ingredients- 1 large potato
- 1 cucumber
- 3-4 imitation crab sticks (kani kama)
- 4 thin slices of ham

- Pinch of black pepper

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the cucumber thoroughly and slice it thinly into rounds. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over the sliced cucumber and let it sit for about 10 minutes. This process, called salting, will draw out excess moisture, ensuring a crispier texture.

Next, peel the potato and cut it into large chunks. Place the potato pieces in a pot and cover with plenty of water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and simmer for about 7-10 minutes, or until tender. You can check for doneness by piercing a piece with a fork; it should go in easily.

Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them well and mash them while they are still warm. In a bowl, combine the mashed potato with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 3-4 tablespoons of milk, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of black pepper, and 3-4 pinches of salt. Mix everything together thoroughly to create a smooth and creamy potato base.

Finally, squeeze out any excess water from the salted cucumber slices. Add the drained cucumber to the potato mixture.
