Lobster Preparation
  • 1 Pre-cooked lobster
  • 1/4 Lemon wedge

Butter Glaze & Topping
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 20-30g Butter (adjust to taste)
  • 50g Mozzarella cheese
  • Pinch of dried parsley

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Remove the pre-cooked lobster from the freezer and let it thaw naturally. Alternatively, rinse it under running cold water. (Since it’s already cooked, there’s no need to remove excess salt.)

Step 2

Once thawed, briefly blanch the lobster in boiling water for about 2 minutes. If cooking directly from frozen, boil for about 6 minutes. It’s crucial to get the timing right to avoid the lobster becoming tough. For butter grilling, either cook immediately after full thawing or give it a quick 1-2 minute boil before proceeding with the butter cooking step.

Step 3

Make a long incision down the center of the lobster’s underside. Gently spread open both sides with your hands; this will easily separate the shell from the meat, from the head all the way to the tail, making it easier to eat.

Step 4

Prepare 20-30g of butter. Use 20g for a lighter flavor or 30g for a richer taste. Mix the butter with 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and melt it in the microwave. Brush this garlic butter generously over the exposed meat of the lobster.

Step 5

Cover the lobster generously with mozzarella cheese. Microwave for about 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For extra crispiness and a golden-brown finish, you can briefly grill it in an oven or air fryer for an additional minute. Finish with a sprinkle of dried parsley for a beautiful presentation and added aroma.
