[Kid’s Snack] Delicious Mug Pizza You Can Make in a Snap!
Inspired by store-bought mug pizzas, this recipe is designed for you to easily recreate the deliciousness at home! It’s a perfect way to use up leftover vegetables from your fridge, making snack time both nutritious and fun for your kids with their favorite pizza flavor.
Main Ingredients- 1 slice of bread
- 2 Tbsp tomato spaghetti sauce
- 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide or apple jam
- 1/4 onion
- 3-4 olives
- 1/4 bell pepper (use various colors for a vibrant look)
- 1/2 king oyster mushroom
- Generous amount of pizza cheese
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, trim the crusts off the bread and cut it into approximately 1cm cubes. Cutting them this small helps them cook more evenly and improves the texture when microwaved.
Step 2
Finely mince the onion, olives, bell pepper, and king oyster mushroom after washing and drying them. Mincing the vegetables finely ensures they blend well with the sauce and are easy for children to chew.
Step 3
Place the finely minced vegetables and 2 tablespoons of tomato spaghetti sauce into a bowl. Using a store-bought sauce makes it easier to achieve a deep flavor.
Step 4
Add 1 tablespoon of oligosaccharide or apple jam for a touch of sweet and tangy flavor. Honey can also be used, but oligosaccharide or apple jam provides a milder sweetness that’s great for kids.

Stir everything together thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well combined. It’s important for the flavors to harmonize.

Add the cubed bread pieces to the vegetable sauce mixture and gently toss to coat the bread evenly. Be careful not to mix too vigorously, as this could make the bread mushy.

Spoon the mixture into microwave-safe cups or small bowls. Filling them nicely makes for an appealing presentation, and cups are convenient for kids to hold and eat from.
