Tofu Noodle Mala Xiang Guo Stir-fry Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Mala Xiang Guo Sauce
  • 2 packs Tofu Noodles
  • 3 handfuls Pork Belly, thinly sliced (approx. 150g)
  • 10 Sausages
  • 1/2 handful Enoki Mushrooms (1/2 bunch)
  • 1 bag Bean Sprouts
  • 1 stalk Green Onion
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, thoroughly rinse the fresh bean sprouts under running water and drain them well. Maintaining their crispiness is key!

Step 1

Step 2

Chop the green onion into bite-sized pieces. Its aromatic flavor will beautifully complement the mala sauce.

Step 2

Step 3

Peel and wash the onion, then slice it thinly into strips. This will help it cook evenly in the stir-fry.

Step 3

Step 4

Trim the base of the enoki mushrooms. Separate the strands and cut them in half for easier stir-frying.

Step 4

Step 5

Briefly blanch the sausages in boiling water to remove any impurities. Then, slice them thinly on an angle for a better presentation and taste.

Step 5

Step 6

Drain the tofu noodles from their packaging. They are ready to be used directly. You can lightly blanch them in boiling water if you prefer, but stir-frying them directly is also perfectly fine.

Step 6

Step 7

Prepare your Mala Xiang Guo sauce. Have about 1 ladleful ready, as this makes the cooking process smoother. (Adjust the amount according to your preference and the sauce’s intensity!)

Step 7

Step 8

Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a large wok or pan over medium-low heat. Add the chopped green onions and stir-fry until fragrant, allowing the oil to infuse with their aroma. Once the green onion oil is ready, add the thinly sliced pork belly and stir-fry until it’s nicely browned.

Step 8

Step 9

When the pork belly is almost cooked, add 1/2 tablespoon of sugar to enhance the savory notes. Then, add the sliced sausages and stir-fry together. Finally, add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and ensure it coats all the ingredients.

Step 9

Step 10

Now, add the prepared enoki mushrooms and tofu noodles to the wok. Pour in 1 tablespoon of the Mala Xiang Guo sauce (about 1/2 ladleful) and stir-fry quickly to combine. Make sure the tofu noodles absorb the flavorful sauce.

Step 10

Step 11

In the final step, add the rinsed bean sprouts and stir-fry just until they begin to wilt, preserving their satisfying crunch. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of Mala Xiang Guo sauce and give everything a final toss to infuse more spicy flavor.

Step 11

Step 12

Your delicious Tofu Noodle Mala Xiang Guo Stir-fry, with its exhilarating spiciness and diverse textures, is now complete! Enjoy it while it’s hot!
