Main Ingredients

  • 150g Beef (sirloin or tenderloin)
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 1/4 Apple
  • 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic (or 2-3 cloves sliced garlic)

Seasoning & Condiments

  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, pat the beef dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, then slice it into bite-sized pieces. Season each side evenly with salt and pepper. Heat a pan over medium heat, add a little olive oil, and cook the seasoned beef until golden brown on both sides. It’s important not to stir too often and to cook quickly over high heat to seal in the juices.

Step 1

Step 2

While the beef is cooking, prepare the fruits. Peel the apple, remove the core, and slice it into flat pieces similar in size to the beef. Peel the kiwi and dice it into small pieces, about 1cm in size. If using minced garlic, have it ready. If using sliced garlic, slice them thinly.

Step 2

Step 3

Remove the cooked beef from the pan and set aside briefly. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of olive oil, add the prepared sliced garlic (or minced garlic), and sauté over low heat until fragrant. Once the garlic aroma is well released, add the sliced apple and stir-fry over medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the apple until it becomes too mushy.

Step 3

Step 4

Now, add the stir-fried garlic and apple back to the pan, along with the cooked beef and diced kiwi. Gently toss everything together to combine evenly. Turn off the heat, drizzle with a little more olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste for the final touch. Your fresh and delicious Fruit Chop Steak is ready! Serve immediately while warm.
