Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces of store-bought pork cutlets (pork tenderloin or chicken cutlets can also be used according to preference)
  • 1/2 bottle of store-bought tomato pasta sauce (approx. 250ml)
  • 4 Tbsp fresh heavy cream (milk or whipping cream can be substituted)
  • 60g mozzarella cheese (adjust quantity as desired)

Flavor Enhancers
  • Pinch of dried parsley flakes (for garnish)
  • 1 Tbsp curry powder (adds an exotic touch to the rosé sauce)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, we’ll fry the pork cutlets directly from frozen. Pour enough cooking oil into a deep pan to submerge the cutlets and preheat it to 170-180°C (340-355°F). Carefully place the frozen cutlets into the hot oil. Fry them, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides. Transfer the fried cutlets to a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil, ensuring they stay wonderfully crisp.

Step 2

While the cutlets are frying, let’s prepare the rosé sauce. Pour half a bottle (approximately 250ml) of your favorite store-bought tomato pasta sauce into a frying pan over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent burning, and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.

Step 3

Once the tomato sauce begins to bubble, slowly pour in 4 tablespoons of heavy cream. This will give the sauce a richer, creamier texture. Stir gently over low heat until the cream and tomato sauce are fully combined into a luscious rosé sauce.

Step 4

Now, let’s elevate the flavor of our rosé sauce. Add 1 tablespoon of curry powder and whisk until well incorporated and smooth, ensuring no lumps remain. The curry powder will impart a subtle yet intriguing aroma. Spread the prepared rosé sauce evenly into an oven-safe dish or gratin pan. Cut the fried pork cutlets into bite-sized pieces (about 2-3 cm) and arrange them attractively over the rosé sauce.

Step 5

Generously sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pork cutlets, ensuring they are well-covered. The cheese will melt and beautifully coat the cutlets. Finish with a light dusting of dried parsley flakes for a pop of color and freshness. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 180°C (355°F) and bake for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Rosé Pork Cutlet!
