Main Ingredients

  • 100g Chicken Breast: Low in fat and rich in protein, chicken breast is an essential ingredient for dieting.
  • 1/2 bag Bean Sprouts: Adds a delightful crunch and refreshing taste, packed with Vitamin C and fiber.
  • 1 Enoki Mushroom: Provides a chewy texture and a unique aroma that enhances the flavor, containing fiber and Vitamin D.
  • 1 Cheongyang Chili Pepper (or other hot chili): Adds a pleasant spiciness that cuts through richness and stimulates the appetite.

Seasoning

  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce: The fundamental seasoning that brings umami and depth to the dish.
  • 0.5 Tbsp Cooking Oil: Used for stir-frying, adding a subtle flavor. (Olive oil or canola oil can be used)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables. Rinse the bean sprouts thoroughly and pat them dry. Trim the base of the enoki mushrooms, separate them into strands, and rinse. Finely chop the chili pepper.

Step 2

Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the bean sprouts and enoki mushrooms and stir-fry briefly, ensuring they remain crisp. Be careful not to overcook, as this can release excess water.

Step 3

Once the mushrooms and bean sprouts begin to soften slightly, pour the soy sauce around the edges of the pan and stir-fry quickly to release its aroma. This prevents the soy sauce from burning.

Step 4

When the vegetables have absorbed some of the soy sauce, add the chopped chicken breast and the chopped chili pepper to the pan. Continue to stir-fry until the chicken breast is fully cooked through.

Step 5

Once all ingredients are well-cooked, turn off the heat. Transfer the stir-fry to a serving plate. If there is any excess liquid from the vegetables, drain it before plating for a cleaner taste and presentation.
