Essential Ingredients- Spam (1 can, 200g)
- Gimbap seaweed sheets (3 sheets)
- Cooked rice (1.5 bowls)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Cut the gimbap seaweed sheets in half horizontally. This will make them easier to handle and shape into a heart.
Step 2
Slice the Spam into three equal long pieces. Then, pan-fry them until golden brown and slightly angled. This step adds a nice color and flavor.
Step 3
Place the Spam slices on the seaweed sheet to form a heart shape. Carefully wrap the seaweed around the Spam, then fill the concave part of the heart with cooked rice. Ensure the rice fills the shape neatly without overflowing.
Step 4
Spread about 3/4 of the seaweed sheet with cooked rice. Place the Spam heart shape in the center of the rice. Roll the seaweed tightly to form the gimbap. Slice the roll into pieces to complete your adorable heart gimbap. For cleaner cuts, you can lightly dampen your knife with water.
