Strawberry Jam Ingredients- 160g frozen strawberries
- 120g sugar
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, in a pot, combine the frozen strawberries (160g) and sugar (120g) for the strawberry jam. If you have lemon juice, adding about 2 tablespoons will enhance the refreshing taste, making it even more delicious. Start on low heat, stirring gently until the sugar begins to dissolve.
Step 2
As the strawberries gradually cook and soften, use a spatula or spoon to lightly mash them. It’s good to leave some texture and not mash them too finely; this way, the strawberry chunks will be enjoyable when mixed with the milk later. Cook for a shorter time than you would for jam, and be careful not to overcook it.
Step 3
Transfer the finished strawberry jam into a sterilized glass jar for storage. Storing it this way helps keep it fresh for longer enjoyment.
Step 4
Prepare a pretty glass cup for your strawberry milk. Spread the prepared strawberry jam along the inner walls of the cup. This way, when you pour the milk, the jam will naturally swirl down, creating a visually appealing strawberry milk.
Step 5
Now, slowly pour 350ml of cold milk into the cup with the strawberry jam. You’ll see the beautiful strawberry milk color form as the milk mixes with the jam. Stir well, and your delicious strawberry milk is ready!
