Easy and Delicious Air Fryer Lamb Ribs at Home
You can buy almost anything online these days, right?! Haha I bought some young lamb ribs and tried cooking them in the air fryer 🙂 These ribs are incredibly tender and flavorful, making for a perfect meal at home.
Main Ingredients- 500g young lamb ribs
- Olive oil
- Herb salt
Air Fryer Temperature and Time- 180°C for 10 minutes + flip and 180°C for 10 minutes
- 180°C for 5 minutes + flip and 180°C for 5 minutes
- 180°C for 10 minutes + flip and 180°C for 10 minutes
- 180°C for 5 minutes + flip and 180°C for 5 minutes
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
While grilling on a BBQ or pan-frying would also be delicious, I decided to try using my air fryer for this recipe today! It’s a fantastic way to achieve perfectly cooked lamb ribs with minimal fuss and less mess.
Step 2
Brush the lamb ribs evenly with olive oil, ensuring the entire surface is coated. Then, generously sprinkle with herb salt. The olive oil helps to keep the ribs moist and aids in browning, while the herb salt seasons them beautifully and helps to tenderize the meat, masking any gamey flavors.
Step 3
Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper. This makes cleanup a breeze and prevents the lamb ribs from sticking to the basket. Arrange the seasoned lamb ribs on the prepared parchment paper.
Step 4
Place the lamb ribs in the preheated air fryer. Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Carefully flip the ribs and cook for another 10 minutes. Then, flip them one more time and cook at 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes, followed by a final flip and 5 more minutes of cooking. This two-stage cooking process ensures the ribs are beautifully browned on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside. Feel free to check for doneness and adjust the cooking time slightly if needed.
