Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash and prepare all the vegetables for the fried rice. For the zucchini, remove the seeds and then finely chop it. Wash the carrot and onion clean, then drain them on a sieve to remove excess water.
Step 2
Finely dice the prepared zucchini, carrot, and onion so they are easy for children to eat. Shred the imitation crab sticks or chop them finely. Dice the ham into small cubes. Crumble or finely mince the dried shrimp to prevent them from burning during cooking.
Step 3
Heat a little cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion first and sauté until translucent to release its aroma. Then, add the carrot, zucchini, ham, imitation crab sticks, and dried shrimp. Stir-fry everything until the vegetables are tender and cooked through. If there is too much moisture released from the vegetables, try to cook it off slightly.
Step 4
Once the vegetables are fully cooked, add the 3 bowls of warm rice to the pan. Use a spatula to gently break up the rice clumps and mix it well with the vegetables. Now, add 1-2 teaspoons of curry powder, the key to the flavor, and stir-fry, coating the rice and vegetables evenly. Season with curry powder; if it’s still bland, you can add a tiny pinch of salt or soy sauce.
Step 5
After all ingredients are well mixed and stir-fried, before turning off the heat, generously drizzle in ketchup and mustard to your liking – the flavors your child loves! Add about 2-3 tablespoons of ketchup and 1-2 teaspoons of mustard, then lightly toss everything together to create a delicious fried rice. Serve it beautifully on a plate, and your child will surely enjoy it even more!
