Main Ingredients- 1 pack Smoked Duck
- 1/2 Onion
- Small amount of Carrot
- 1 Apple
- 4 Perilla Leaves (깻잎)
- 6-7 Cherry Tomatoes
- 2 Cucumbers
Sauce- Mustard-based Sauce (adjust to taste)
- Mustard-based Sauce (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Cut the smoked duck into bite-sized pieces and pan-fry until golden brown. Since it releases a lot of fat, gently pat it with paper towels to remove excess oil for a lighter taste.
Step 2
Thinly julienne the onion, carrot, and apple. The apple adds a refreshing crunch and crispness. Wash the perilla leaves, pat them dry, and finely shred them. Halve the cherry tomatoes and cut the cucumbers lengthwise, then slice them thinly.
Step 3
Spread a thin layer of the mustard-based sauce evenly over the tortilla. Be careful not to use too much, as it can become too salty. You can also mix in mayonnaise for a creamier sauce, according to your preference.
Step 4
Arrange the cooked smoked duck and the julienned vegetables (onion, carrot, apple, perilla leaves), cherry tomatoes, and cucumber attractively over the sauced tortilla. Avoid overfilling, as it will make it difficult to roll.
Step 5
Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly, similar to making kimbap. Tuck in the sides to prevent the filling from spilling out. Once rolled, you can slice it into manageable portions for easier eating. Enjoy!
