Main Ingredients

  • 10 frozen dumplings
  • 5 slices Seoul Milk Gouda cheese

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables and bacon that will enrich the flavor of your Mandu Gratin. Wash and finely chop the green onions, paprika, and onion. Also, dice the bacon into bite-sized pieces. Drain the canned corn, and then add 5 tablespoons of your leftover tomato pasta sauce. Mix all these ingredients together to create the base sauce for your Mandu Gratin. It’s important to mix well so the sauce is thoroughly combined with all the ingredients.

Step 1

Step 2

Spread the prepared base sauce evenly in an oven-safe dish. Take the frozen dumplings as they are, place them in a microwave-safe bowl with a little water, and microwave for about 3 minutes to partially cook them. This helps ensure the dumplings cook through evenly and become tender when baked in the oven or air fryer. Arrange the slightly cooked dumplings neatly over the sauce. Sprinkle generously with sliced black olives for a visually appealing topping and added flavor.

Step 3

Now it’s time to add a generous layer of cheese. While I used to use mozzarella cheese, today we’re specifically using Seoul Milk Gouda cheese! Carefully place 5 slices of Gouda cheese over the ingredients in the oven-safe dish, ensuring everything is well covered. My oven dish was larger than expected, so 5 slices just perfectly covered it! Place it in a preheated air fryer at 180°C (350°F) and cook for about 8 minutes. This is a fantastic dish that comes together quickly, perfect for using up leftover ingredients from the fridge. Enjoy your delicious Mandu Gratin made with leftover pasta sauce!
