Indulge in the sweetness of these incredibly smooth and decadent pave chocolates. They simply melt in your mouth!
Ingredients- 200ml Heavy Cream
- 400g Dark Couverture Chocolate, finely chopped
- Cocoa Powder, for dusting (as needed)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by gently heating the 200ml of heavy cream in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Warm it until small bubbles just start to form around the edges. Be careful not to let it boil. The warm cream is essential for smoothly melting the chocolate.
Step 2
Once the cream is warm, add the 400g of finely chopped dark couverture chocolate. Let it sit for about a minute to begin melting, then gently stir with a spatula or whisk until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth, glossy, and well combined. This creates a luxurious chocolate ganache.
Step 3
Prepare a serving dish or a small baking pan by lining it with parchment paper. This step is crucial for easy removal later. Carefully pour the smooth chocolate ganache into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly with your spatula to create a flat surface.
Step 4
Place the dish in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm. The chocolate needs to be solid enough to be cut cleanly. You’ll know it’s ready when it feels firm to the touch.
Step 5
Once the chocolate has set, carefully lift it out of the dish using the parchment paper. Cut the block into bite-sized squares or rectangles. Finally, generously dust the tops of the chocolates with cocoa powder using a sieve for a beautiful, classic finish. Your homemade pave chocolates are now ready to be enjoyed!
