  • 2 fresh button mushrooms
  • 1 fragrant shiitake mushroom
  • 1/2 king oyster mushroom
  • 1/2 enoki mushroom
  • 1/2 stalk green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 3 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, finely chop the green onion into approximately 0.3cm pieces. This will infuse the fried rice with its fragrant aroma.

Step 2

Dice the yellow and red bell peppers into small cubes, about 0.3cm x 0.3cm. Their vibrant colors will make the fried rice visually appealing.

Step 3

Clean and prepare all the mushrooms by slicing them into bite-sized pieces. Enjoy the diverse textures and flavors of button, shiitake, king oyster, and enoki mushrooms!

Step 4

Heat a preheated pan with 3 tablespoons of cooking oil over medium-low heat. Add the chopped green onion and stir-fry until it becomes fragrant and slightly softened, releasing its sweet aroma.

Step 5

Once the green onion is aromatic, add the diced yellow and red bell peppers, along with all the prepared mushrooms (button, shiitake, king oyster, and enoki). Stir-fry until the vegetables soften and begin to lightly brown.

Step 6

When the bell peppers and mushrooms are cooked to your liking, add 1 bowl of warm cooked rice. Gently break apart the rice clumps with your spatula and mix well with the vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, ensuring all ingredients are evenly combined as you continue to stir-fry.

Step 7

Once the fried rice is evenly seasoned and all ingredients are cooked through, drizzle in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Stir-fry for another moment to incorporate the nutty aroma of the sesame oil, which will enhance the overall flavor.

Step 8

As the sesame oil becomes fragrant, turn off the heat. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds over the top for a final touch. Your delicious and visually appealing Mixed Mushroom Fried Rice is now ready to be enjoyed!
