Main Ingredients- 2 fresh eggs
- Milk (about 1/3 the amount of eggs)
- 1g unsalted butter
- Honey (to taste)
- 2 slices of soft bread
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, crack 2 eggs into a bowl. Using a fork or whisk, gently beat the eggs, breaking the yolks and mixing them well. You don’t need to whisk vigorously.

When the eggs are almost combined, pour in about 1/3 of the egg amount in milk. Adding milk makes the bread moister and softer. Whisk gently again to create the egg mixture.

Dip both sides of the 2 bread slices thoroughly into the prepared egg mixture. Let them soak for a moment to absorb the liquid, then carefully lift them out. Ensure both slices are evenly coated.
Step 4
Now, preheat a frying pan over low heat. Add about 1g of unsalted butter and let it melt, coating the entire surface of the pan. Swirl the pan gently to spread the butter, being careful not to let it burn.

Carefully place the egg-coated bread slices onto the frying pan with the melted butter. Cooking over low heat is key to ensure the inside is warm and cooked through while the outside turns a beautiful golden brown. Once one side is a lovely golden color, flip it and cook the other side the same way.

Remove the egg bread from the pan once both sides are golden brown. Cut the bread into bite-sized pieces. Drizzle generously with honey while it’s still warm for a burst of sweetness. Your delicious egg bread is ready to be enjoyed! Serve warm with milk or coffee.
