Nutrient-Rich! Cool and Satisfying Misugaru Drink
How to Make a Refreshing Misugaru Drink This Summer! Perfect as a Filling Breakfast Substitute and a Healthy Diet Drink!
This is a delicious drink made with precious misugaru, generously sent by my mother-in-law. Just imagining all the good ingredients packed into it makes me feel healthier already! Lately, I’ve been having misugaru dressing with my salads for breakfast as part of my diet, and my child wanted a cool misugaru drink. Since my child is allergic to cow’s milk, I decided to make this special version using creamy soy milk.
Ingredients- 3 Tbsp Misugaru (approx. 30g)
- 1 Tbsp Honey (approx. 15ml)
- 1 pack Soy Milk (200ml)
- Ice cubes, as needed
- 1 Walnut (for garnish)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Add 3 tablespoons of misugaru to your blender. Misugaru can sometimes clump, so while some people use a hand blender, whisk, or shaker bottle, the misugaru I have is quite rich and tends to not mix well. Therefore, I found using a blender to be the easiest and cleanest method for a smooth result.
Step 2
Next, pour 1 pack (200ml) of soy milk into the blender. The creamy richness of the soy milk will blend beautifully with the misugaru, creating a smoother and more delicious beverage.
Step 3
Add 1 tablespoon of honey for a touch of sweetness. If you are using regular cow’s milk instead of soy milk, I recommend using 2 tablespoons of honey. If you’re using water, use 3 tablespoons of honey to adjust the sweetness. Feel free to adjust the amount of honey to your preference.
Step 4
Add a handful of ice cubes for a refreshing chill. The misugaru from my mother-in-law is quite thick, so without the ice, it might not have blended as smoothly. The ice will help the mixture blend effortlessly.
Step 5
Once all the ingredients are blended, you’ll have this thick and satisfying misugaru drink. Just looking at it makes you feel energized, doesn’t it? It’s a truly excellent and filling substitute for breakfast on busy mornings.
Step 6
For an extra cool treat, float a few more ice cubes on top of the finished drink. It looks appealing and makes the drink even more refreshing to sip.
Step 7
Finally, for added flavor and nutrition, roughly chop 1 walnut and sprinkle it over the drink as a garnish. The textural crunch and nutty flavor will make your misugaru drink even more delightful.
