- 2 Tbsp Perilla Seed Powder
- 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, peel the potatoes using a peeler and cut them in half. Boil them until tender, about 15-20 minutes. While the potatoes are boiling, place the eggs in boiling water with 1 teaspoon of salt and boil for about 10-12 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
Step 2
While the potatoes and eggs are boiling, prepare the vegetables for the salad. For the cucumber, remove the seedy core and finely chop it. Finely chop the carrot and red bell pepper as well after washing them thoroughly.
Step 3
Carefully peel the hard-boiled eggs. Place the boiled potatoes and eggs into a large bowl. It’s easier to mash them while they are still warm.
Step 4
While the potatoes and eggs are still warm, use a fork or a masher to break them down until smooth and lump-free. Mashing them to the size of rice grains provides a pleasant texture.
Step 5
Add all the prepared chopped vegetables (cucumber, carrot, red bell pepper) to the mashed potatoes and eggs. Then, add the salad dressing ingredients: 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1/2 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 2 tablespoons of perilla seed powder for a nutty aroma.

Using a spatula or spoon, mix all the ingredients and seasonings thoroughly until well combined. The salad base is now ready.

For the canapés, wash the apple thoroughly and cut off the top and bottom stems to create a stable base. Slice the apple into thick rounds, about 1 cm thick.

Using a small cookie cutter or a paring knife, carefully cut out the center core from each apple slice. This creates a space to hold the salad, making it look more appealing. (Alternatively, you can carefully cut out the core with a knife.)
