Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the zucchini. Slice it thinly, about 0.5 cm thick, either in half-moon shapes or flat rounds. It’s important to slice it to a moderate thickness so it doesn’t break apart while stir-frying. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the sliced zucchini and 2 teaspoons of salted shrimp paste. Stir-fry until the zucchini becomes slightly translucent. The shrimp paste adds a savory depth and seasons the dish perfectly. (You can substitute with 1 tsp of Korean soy sauce and a pinch of salt if you prefer.)
Step 2
