Ingredients

  • Beef (tender cut) 15g
  • Bok Choy (leafy parts) 35g
  • Rice flour 35g
  • Water 420g

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Start by soaking 15g of beef in cold water to remove any blood. It’s best to change the water and soak it three times, each for about 20 minutes. This step is crucial for eliminating any gamey odor and making the baby food more palatable.

Step 1

Step 2

Once the blood is removed, boil the beef until it’s fully cooked. After boiling, drain the beef and mince it very finely. Ensure it’s as smooth as possible so your baby can easily chew and swallow it.

Step 2

Step 3

Prepare 35g of fresh bok choy. This weight refers specifically to the green leafy parts, which are packed with nutrients. For your baby’s food, use only these vibrant green leaves. Wash the bok choy thoroughly and blanch it in boiling water for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Overcooking can lead to nutrient loss.

Step 3

Step 4

Combine the blanched bok choy, finely minced beef, and 100g of water in a blender. Since this is for early-stage baby food, it’s important to blend everything until it’s extremely smooth and free of any lumps, ensuring easy digestion for your baby.

Step 4

Step 5

After blending, you’ll have a vibrant green juice from the bok choy, a sign of its freshness and nutritional goodness!

Step 5

Step 6

Now, let’s prepare the rice flour base. In a saucepan or bowl, combine 320g of cold water with 35g of rice flour. Whisk thoroughly until there are no clumps. It’s essential to use cold water initially to ensure the rice flour dissolves smoothly without forming lumps.

Step 6

Step 7

Pour the blended beef and bok choy mixture into the saucepan with the dissolved rice flour. Place the saucepan over medium-low heat and begin to cook gently.

Step 7

Step 8

While cooking, continuously stir the mixture with a spatula to prevent the rice flour from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Gently simmer, stirring constantly, until the baby food reaches a thick, smooth consistency that’s perfect for your little one.

Step 8

Step 9

Your delicious beef and bok choy baby food is now thick and ready! Transfer it to baby food containers to cool. The total yield is approximately 425g. It’s recommended to portion it into about 100ml servings, suitable for a single meal. Adjust the portion size based on your baby’s appetite.

Step 9

Step 10

Portioned into convenient 100ml servings for easy feeding. Fresh and nutritious beef and bok choy baby food awaits your baby. This makes for a wholesome and balanced meal. Completed!
