  • 1/2 steamed pumpkin (approx. 300-400g)
  • 3/4 steamed sweet potato (approx. 200-250g)
  • 1 cup water (200ml)
  • 3 Tbsp coarsely ground almond flour (approx. 30g)
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese

First, prepare all the ingredients for the porridge. Steam the pumpkin and sweet potato until very tender. Place them in a steamer and cook for about 20-30 minutes until soft. Coarsely grind the almonds using a blender or food processor. It’s best to grind them with a slightly coarse texture rather than making a fine powder.

While the steamed pumpkin and sweet potato are still warm, peel them. Place the peeled pumpkin and sweet potato in a bowl and mash them thoroughly with a fork until smooth, with no lumps. Add the ground almond flour and 1 cup of water to the mashed pumpkin and sweet potato. Transfer the mixture to a pot and begin to cook over medium-low heat. Stir continuously with a spatula to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

Once the porridge reaches a slightly thick consistency, add the slice of cheddar cheese. Continue to stir over low heat until the cheese is completely melted.
