One-Pan Tomato Sausage Pasta
Effortless One-Pan Tomato Sausage Pasta Recipe
Cook a delicious pasta dish easily and quickly using just one pan. Perfect for a simple weeknight meal or a satisfying lunch.
Key Ingredients- 2 ripe tomatoes, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 2 servings of pasta (spaghetti recommended)
- 1 cup (approx. 240ml) store-bought tomato sauce
- 2 sausages, sliced or cut as desired
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by preparing your ingredients. Wash and chop the tomatoes into roughly 2cm cubes. Dice the onion similarly. Slice or cut the sausages into your preferred pieces. Select a deep frying pan or a pot for this recipe.
Step 2
Add the chopped tomatoes, onion, sausages, and the dry pasta (you can add it whole without breaking) into the single pan. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil evenly over the ingredients. Then, carefully pour in 500ml of water.
Step 3
Place the pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking together, and let it cook for about 8 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente. Check for desired doneness.
