Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Today, we’re making ‘One-Pan Tomato Spaghetti’. Let’s create a fantastic pasta dish with minimal fuss, using just one skillet!

Step 1

Step 2

Let’s start by preparing the ingredients. Slice the Vienna sausages and brown mushrooms into thick, bite-sized pieces. Halve or quarter the cherry tomatoes. Finely mince the onion. Remove the seeds from the green chili pepper and finely chop it.

Step 2

Step 3

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a generous amount of olive oil. First, add the minced onion and sauté until translucent to release its aroma. Then, add minced garlic (optional, but common addition, not in original input) and cook briefly. Next, add the sliced Vienna sausages and cook until they are nicely browned and slightly crispy, enhancing their flavor.

Step 3

Step 4

Now, it’s time to cook the pasta. Pour the measured water (300ml) into the skillet. Add the spaghetti, ensuring it doesn’t clump together by gently stirring with chopsticks or tongs occasionally. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the pasta is partially cooked. The key is to cook it al dente at this stage.

Step 4

Step 5

Add the prepared mushrooms and cherry tomatoes to the skillet and continue to simmer for another 3-4 minutes. We’re adding them later to preserve their fresh texture. If you prefer, you can certainly add them along with the water from the beginning. If the liquid reduces too much during cooking, add a little more water to maintain a good sauce consistency.

Step 5

Step 6

Now, let’s add the flavor. Stir in the store-bought tomato sauce (2.5 Tbsp) and the chopped green chili pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to meld beautifully with the other ingredients.

Step 6

Step 7

Add the Parmesan cheese powder (1.5 Tbsp) and stir everything together until well combined and the sauce coats the ingredients. The melting cheese will add a wonderful richness.

Step 7

Step 8

Finally, sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper. Your delicious One-Pan Tomato Spaghetti is ready to be served!

Step 8

Step 9

The cooking time for the pasta can be adjusted according to your preference. The most accurate way is to taste-test a strand of spaghetti about 10 minutes into cooking and remove from heat when it reaches your desired al dente texture. Enjoy your meal!
