Introducing the ‘Orange Blossom’ cocktail, a perfect choice for those who enjoy a delightful sip but prefer something not too strong! This is one of the oldest cocktails, yet it remains incredibly popular and beloved by many. Make a sophisticated cocktail at home with ease!
Ingredients- 45ml Gin
- 15ml Triple Sec (or Orange Liqueur)
- 45ml Orange Juice (freshly squeezed recommended)
- 1 bar spoon (approx. 1ml) Grenadine Syrup
- Ice (for shaking and serving)
- 120ml Cocktail Glass
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the fragrant garnish. Carefully peel the skin from an orange using a knife or a vegetable peeler to create an ‘Orange Peel’. Using a channel knife or a thin blade will help you get a clean peel. This orange peel will add wonderful aroma and flavor to your cocktail.
Step 2
To prepare the fresh orange juice, cut an orange in half and juice one half to get 45ml. Using freshly squeezed juice will significantly enhance the cocktail’s taste.
Step 3
Now, it’s time to mix the cocktail. Fill a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice. Then, add 45ml of Gin, 15ml of Triple Sec (or Orange Liqueur), 45ml of freshly squeezed Orange Juice, and 1 bar spoon (approx. 1ml) of Grenadine Syrup to the shaker. Close the lid securely and shake vigorously and rhythmically for about 15-20 seconds, until the shaker feels very cold. This process chills the cocktail, thoroughly combines the ingredients, and achieves the perfect consistency.
Step 4
Finally, pour the shaken cocktail into your prepared 120ml cocktail glass. You can strain the ice from the shaker or add fresh ice to the glass. Garnish the finished cocktail with the orange peel you prepared earlier. Your fragrant and beautiful ‘Orange Blossom’ cocktail is now complete! Enjoy your drink.
