Main Ingredients- 100g minced or finely chopped pork
- 70g trimmed chives (about one handful)
- 30g onion (approx. 1/4 small onion)
- 2 eggs
Seasoning & Others- 1 Tbsp low-sodium baby soy sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Brown rice oil or vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 Tbsp low-sodium baby soy sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Brown rice oil or vegetable oil (for frying)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, season the pork by mixing it with 1 Tbsp of low-sodium baby soy sauce and 1 tsp of minced garlic. Marinating the pork beforehand will make it more tender and flavorful. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion into small pieces, no larger than 0.5cm, suitable for your baby. Similarly, finely chop the chives into small pieces. This ensures all ingredients are well combined and easy for your baby to eat.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the marinated pork, chopped onion, and chives. Crack in the 2 fresh eggs. Mix everything together with chopsticks or a spatula until you have a well-combined batter. Ensure there are no lumps.
Step 4
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and add a generous amount of brown rice oil. Ladle portions of the batter into the pan, shaping them into round, flat pancakes. Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown and cooked through. Adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning.
