Pork Braised in Soy Milk Broth
Pork Braised using ‘Jeongssippum’ Rich Soy Milk
A thick and savory pork dish braised using Jeongssippum’s rich soy milk.
Ingredients
- Pork 150g (neck or belly recommended)
- Jeongssippum Rich Soy Milk (Black Bean flavor) 100ml
- Jeongssippum Rich Soy Milk (White Bean flavor) 100ml
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 100ml heavy cream
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare 100ml of ‘Jeongssippum Rich Soy Milk (Black Bean flavor)’, the key ingredient for this recipe. The deep and nutty flavor of the soy milk will enhance the dish’s taste.
Step 2
Next, prepare 100ml of ‘Jeongssippum Rich Soy Milk (White Bean flavor)’. Using a mix of both flavors will create a richer and more balanced taste.
Step 3
Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces. Season the pork with a pinch of salt and black pepper, then mix well. This helps to remove any porky smell and adds depth of flavor.
Step 4
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned pork and sear until it turns golden brown on all sides. Ensure the exterior is nicely browned.
Step 5
Once the pork is browned, pour in both the black bean and white bean soy milk. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes, allowing the soy milk to reduce slightly and the flavors to meld with the pork.
Step 6
As the soy milk thickens, add 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese and 100ml of heavy cream. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the cream is well combined. Continue to simmer until the sauce reaches a thick, coating consistency. Serve and enjoy the tender texture and rich, savory flavor!
