Main Ingredients

  • Bacon, 100g
  • Bean Sprouts, 200g
  • Onion, 1/4
  • Green Onion, 1/4 stalk

Seasoning

  • Soy Sauce, 1 Tbsp
  • Salt, 0.5 tsp
  • Sugar, 0.5 tsp

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, heat a pan over medium heat and add a tiny bit of oil to prevent sticking. Add the sliced onion and stir-fry until it becomes translucent, releasing its aroma.

Step 1

Step 2

Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces (about 2-3 cm). Separate any stuck-together slices and add them to the pan with the onion. Stir-fry until the bacon is nicely browned and crisp. It’s good to let the bacon render its fat.

Step 2

Step 3

Once the bacon is cooked to your liking, finely chop the green onion and add it to the pan for extra flavor. Add the thoroughly washed and drained bean sprouts.

Step 3

Step 4

Stir-fry the bean sprouts just until they wilt slightly but still retain some crispness – avoid overcooking, as they can release water. Finally, add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.5 tsp of sugar. Stir everything together for a final quick toss, and your delicious bacon and bean sprout stir-fry is ready!
