Main Ingredients- 1 pack Mokwuchon Prime Roast Ham
- 1 pack Udon noodles
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 King Oyster Mushroom
- A bit of Green Onion
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, slice the Mokwuchon Prime Roast Ham lengthwise into bite-sized strips. This helps the ham’s savory flavor infuse beautifully into the dish.
Step 2
Peel and wash the onion, then slice it into thin strips, similar in length to the ham. The onion’s natural sweetness will enhance the overall flavor of the stir-fried udon.
Step 3
Finely chop the green onion. This will be used both in the stir-fry and as a garnish, adding a fresh aroma and visual appeal.
Step 4
Clean the king oyster mushroom, trim the ends, and slice it into strips, about the same length as the ham, or into bite-sized pieces. Its firm, chewy texture complements the udon noodles perfectly.
Step 5
In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of mirin, and 1 teaspoon of minced garlic. Whisk well to create a flavorful sauce. Having the sauce ready beforehand makes the cooking process much smoother.
Step 6
Bring a generous amount of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the udon noodles and cook for about 2 minutes, just until they are heated through and slightly tender. Be careful not to overcook them. Drain immediately and do not rinse with cold water; use them directly in the stir-fry.
Step 7
Heat a little cooking oil in a deep pan or wok over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and the prepared Mokwuchon Prime Roast Ham, and stir-fry until the ham is lightly browned and the onions are translucent. Then, add the chopped green onions and sliced king oyster mushrooms, stir-frying briefly until the vegetables are slightly tender. Pour in the drained udon noodles and the prepared sauce. Toss everything together quickly and thoroughly until the noodles and ingredients are well coated with the sauce. Continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Step 8
Transfer the beautifully stir-fried udon to a serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for a final touch of flavor and visual appeal. Your delicious stir-fried udon is now ready to be enjoyed!
