Next, let’s wash the apple. Since we’ll be consuming it with the peel, scrub the surface with baking soda or soak it in water with a few drops of vinegar, then rinse until it squeaks. To minimize browning, chop apples you plan to use within 2-3 days and store them in an airtight container. This helps reduce air exposure and maintain freshness.
