Seasoning Ingredients

  • 1 tsp minced garlic (adjust to your preference for garlic flavor)
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds (essential for a nutty flavor)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce or salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp coarse sea salt (for blanching)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil (for the finishing touch of aroma)
  • 1/2 stalk green onion (finely chopped, white parts preferred)

Cooking Instructions

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, carefully add the sea purslane.

As the water returns to a boil, add 1 tsp of coarse sea salt. This helps maintain the crisp texture of the sea purslane and removes any slight bitterness.
