Key Ingredients
  • 400ml Plain Yogurt (unsweetened)
  • 100ml Oligosaccharide or Honey (adjust to taste)
  • A few frozen raspberries or your favorite frozen fruit (for decoration)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare 400ml of unsweetened plain yogurt. You can use homemade yogurt or store-bought plain yogurt. Add 100ml of oligosaccharide or honey to sweeten it. Using a whisk or spoon, mix the yogurt and sweetener thoroughly until smooth and well combined, ensuring there are no lumps. Your delicious yogurt base is now ready.

Step 2

Next, get your ice pop molds ready. Place a few frozen raspberries (or other frozen fruits like blueberries or mangoes) into each mold. Adding fruit will make the ice bars visually appealing and provide a burst of fruity flavor with every bite, making them even more delicious! Use the fruit sparingly as a decorative element.

Step 3

Now, carefully fill the prepared ice pop molds with the yogurt mixture, leaving about 10-20% of the space at the top. Filling them completely might cause overflow when the yogurt freezes and expands. Leave a little room for expansion. The smooth yogurt filling the molds already looks wonderfully refreshing!

Step 4

After filling with the yogurt mixture, add about two more frozen raspberries into each mold. Adding fruit in the middle layer ensures you get a delightful mix of flavors and textures every time you take a bite. The combination of frozen yogurt and fruit is truly exciting.

Step 5

Finally, insert the ice pop sticks into each mold to secure them. Once everything is prepared, place the filled ice pop molds in the freezer and let them freeze completely for at least 24 hours. The ice bars need to be thoroughly frozen to achieve an ice cream-like consistency. Enjoy these perfectly frozen, delicious yogurt ice bars – the ultimate cool summer treat!
