Rich and Deep Beef Bone Broth Ramen

A Hearty Beef Bone Broth Ramen Recipe That Will Make You Want to Add Rice

Rich and Deep Beef Bone Broth Ramen

Today, I’m sharing a recipe that’s less of a ‘dish’ and more of a ‘super simple meal.’ On a night when I felt a little peckish, I discovered some leftover beef bone broth (sago) in the fridge. This recipe was also featured by Chef Heo Hoon on TV. While I knew beef bone broth could be used in various dishes, I’d never thought of adding it to ramen before, so I decided to try making ‘Sago Ramen’!

Ingredients

  • Beef bone broth 500~550ml
  • Ramen noodles 1 pack

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Instead of water, we’ll use rich beef bone broth. Prepare about 550ml of beef bone broth. This flavorful broth will form the base of your ramen, giving it a depth of flavor far beyond regular instant ramen.

Step 1

Step 2

Once the beef bone broth comes to a boil, add the included vegetable packet (garnish packet) and the soup powder packet. I made my beef bone broth ramen using Shin Ramyun. The rich broth enhances the spicy notes of Shin Ramyun beautifully, creating a unique and satisfying flavor profile.

Step 3

Next, add the ramen noodles. I love cooking with beef bone broth because any dish made with it develops a deep, savory flavor without needing extensive seasoning. It’s a pantry staple I always keep frozen because it’s so versatile. While making it from scratch can be time-consuming, having it on hand makes cooking so much easier! Cook the noodles according to your preference for firmness, and your delicious beef bone broth ramen is complete! Isn’t that incredibly simple?

Step 4

And there you have it – super simple beef bone broth ramen! It’s almost too easy to call it ‘cooking,’ but the flavor is anything but ordinary. Adding beef bone broth elevates even the simplest ramen into a gourmet experience, perfect for beginners. Using Shin Ramyun, I was surprised to find it tasted remarkably similar to ‘Shin Ramyun Black,’ which I now realize must be due to its beef bone broth base. The broth was just that rich and delicious! I ended up eating all the noodles and then, of course, adding rice to the leftover broth. A truly simple yet incredibly satisfying beef bone broth ramen recipe!
