- 8 Tbsp Milk (or almond milk/soy milk for dairy-free)
- 1 large Egg
- 1 drop Vanilla Extract (boosts chocolate aroma)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the hazelnut flour, baking powder, xylose sugar, salt, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Add the milk, one large egg, and a single drop of vanilla extract. Whisk everything together with a whisk or spatula until you achieve a smooth, lump-free batter. Ensure all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated for the best texture.

Pour the batter into a microwave-safe mug or small ramekin, filling it about 50% full. Avoid overfilling, as the cake will rise during cooking. Adjust the amount of batter based on the size of your mug to prevent overflow.
Step 3
Microwave the filled mug on high for approximately 3 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
