Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Wash the fresh chives thoroughly and finely chop them. Chopping them isn’t too coarse ensures they integrate well with the garlic jam.

Heat a pan over medium heat, then reduce to low. Add 100g of corn margarine and let it melt slowly. Be careful not to burn the margarine.

Once the margarine is melted, add 4 tablespoons of minced garlic. Sauté over low heat until the sharp garlic aroma transforms into a sweet fragrance. This step is crucial for developing the garlic’s flavor.

After the garlic has been sautéed, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and the chopped chives. Stir and cook until the mixture thickens slightly, allowing the moisture to evaporate.
