- 1 cup chopped scallions (primarily white parts), cut into large pieces

Cooking Instructions

First, prepare the Vienna sausages. Make 2-3 cross-shaped scores on the surface of each sausage. This helps them beautifully unfurl as they cook, making for a more appealing presentation and enhanced flavor. Be careful not to cut too deep. Prepare all 23 sausages this way.

Next, prepare the scallions. Use mostly the white parts and chop them into large pieces, similar in size to the sausages, to maintain a good texture. The green parts can have a strong flavor, so focus on using the white sections.

Now, heat a pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and the chopped scallions. Sauté for about 3 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened, allowing their sweet aroma to release. The scallions should become fragrant and slightly golden.
