Rice Ingredients

  • 1 handful of soybean sprouts (approx. 100g)
  • 1 segment-sized piece of radish (approx. 50g)
  • 150ml rice (1 standard paper cup)
  • 150ml water (1 standard paper cup)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash the 50g of radish and julienne it thinly and lengthwise. Slicing it this thin ensures it becomes tender when cooked with the rice.

Step 1

Step 2

Rinse the 150ml of rice, soak it for about 30 minutes, then drain it in a sieve. Wash the soybean sprouts and trim off any messy roots. Prepare the julienned radish as sliced earlier. Add the rice and 150ml of water to the pressure cooker. Then, arrange the prepared soybean sprouts and julienned radish loosely and attractively on top. Matching the water volume to the rice volume will result in moist, perfectly cooked rice.

Step 2

Step 3

While the rice is cooking, let’s make a delicious dressing! In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sweet plum extract, savory sesame oil, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds to your liking, and mix well. Once the rice is cooked, spoon a generous amount of the prepared dressing over the warm rice and mix it thoroughly. If serving to children, adjust the amount of soy sauce, and feel free to add more sesame oil or seeds according to preference.
