Rice Ball Ingredients

  • 7 Shrimp (cocktail shrimp or medium shrimp)
  • 1/4 Carrot
  • 20g Pickled Radish (Danmuji)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 bowl of Cold Rice (approx. 200g)

Seasonings and Garnish

  • 8g Seasoning Mix (BokRice or store-bought rice ball seasoning)
  • Sesame Seeds (a pinch)
  • Chopped Parsley (optional)
  • Red Pepper Flakes (for adult portion, optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the shrimp by peeling and rinsing them thoroughly. If frozen, thaw them in cold water and pat dry. Finely mince the carrot and pickled radish. (Tip: Using raw carrot adds a delightful crunch, but if your child prefers, you can lightly sauté it first.)

In a large bowl, combine the cold rice, minced carrot, minced pickled radish, and the seasoning mix (8g of BokRice or store-bought rice ball seasoning). Add the prepared shrimp to the bowl.
