Main Ingredients- 100cc Water
- 3g Agar-agar powder
- 400cc Black bean soy milk (choose sweetened or unsweetened to your preference)
- 40g Dark chocolate (you can substitute with milk chocolate if preferred)
- 20g Crunchy bits (can be substituted with chocolate chips or crushed cookies)
Sweetener- 30g Sugar (adjust amount based on the sweetness of your soy milk and chocolate)
- 30g Sugar (adjust amount based on the sweetness of your soy milk and chocolate)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, in a saucepan, combine 100cc of cold water with 3g of agar-agar powder. Stir gently over low heat until the agar-agar dissolves and reaches a gel-like consistency, similar to glue. Once the agar-agar is fully dissolved, add 30g of sugar and stir until the sugar is completely incorporated. It’s best to add sugar after the agar-agar has dissolved to ensure it melts smoothly.
Step 2
Next, pour in 400cc of black bean soy milk. Increase the heat to medium and stir continuously as the mixture begins to simmer and small bubbles start to form.
Step 3
As soon as the mixture starts to gently boil, add 40g of dark chocolate. Stir slowly with a spatula until the chocolate is completely melted and smoothly incorporated into the liquid. This step will enrich the jelly with a deep, satisfying chocolate flavor.
Step 4
Once the chocolate has fully melted, turn off the heat. Finally, stir in 20g of crunchy bits until evenly distributed throughout the jelly mixture. Pour the mixture into individual serving glasses or decorative molds. Let it cool slightly at room temperature, then refrigerate for about 1 hour until set. Your delicious soy milk chocolate jelly is ready to be enjoyed chilled!
