Nutritious Vuco Coconut Oil Broccoli Mayonnaise

Ingredients- 2 Tbsp Vuco Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- 10 Shrimp
- 10 florets Broccoli
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch or Potato Starch
- 2 Tbsp Chili Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Vuco Coconut Oil Mayonnaise (or regular mayonnaise)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the shrimp. Rinse them thoroughly under running water. For a cleaner taste, you can devein them by gently removing the dark intestinal tract from the back with a toothpick or skewer.
Step 2
Wash the broccoli and cut it into bite-sized florets. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water with a pinch of salt for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. This helps retain its vibrant color and crisp texture. After blanching, quickly rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process and cool them down.
Step 3
Season the deveined shrimp with a pinch of salt and pepper. Then, coat the shrimp evenly with cornstarch (or potato starch). This step is crucial for achieving a slightly crispy exterior when pan-frying.
