  • 0.5 Tbsp soy sauce
  • Pinch of salt (to taste)
  • Pinch of black pepper (to taste)
  • Drizzle of sesame oil

Cooking Instructions

First, prepare your ingredients. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them naturally in cool water and pat dry. Finely dice the carrot. Thinly slice the green onion. It’s best to let the cooked rice cool slightly in a bowl before frying to prevent clumping.

Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a heated pan over medium-low heat. Add the sliced green onions and sauté for about 3 minutes until fragrant, creating a delicious scallion oil. Be careful not to burn them.

Once the scallion oil is fragrant, add the thawed shrimp and diced carrots. Stir-fry until the shrimp turn pink and the carrots are slightly tender.
