Simple Guacamole Highlighting Avocado’s Natural Creaminess
Effortless Guacamole with Frozen Avocado: A Super Simple Recipe That Preserves the Richness of Avocado
While there are many ways to enjoy avocados, guacamole is undeniably the best. The flavor of guacamole can vary greatly depending on who makes it. This recipe focuses on bringing out the pure, creamy, and savory taste of the avocado itself. It’s incredibly versatile and pairs wonderfully with toast, nachos, salads, and more.
Ingredients- Frozen avocado 400g (thawed)
- Tomatoes 2 (small)
- Onion 1/2 (small)
- Lemon juice 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Pepper a pinch
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, finely dice the onion. To remove its strong pungency and enhance its crisp texture, soak the diced onion in cold water for about 5 minutes, then drain it well in a sieve.
Step 2
Next, dice the tomatoes. It’s best to remove the seeds first to prevent excess moisture from making the guacamole watery. Aim for small, uniform cubes.
Step 3
Take the thawed avocado and place it in a bowl. Using a fork or a potato masher, gently mash the avocado. Leave some small chunks for a pleasant texture; avoid mashing it into a completely smooth paste.
Step 4
Add the prepared diced onion and chopped tomatoes to the mashed avocado. Now, season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. The lemon juice not only prevents the avocado from browning but also adds a bright, fresh flavor.
Step 5
Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Your delicious guacamole is ready! Serve immediately, or cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate to enjoy its fresh taste later.
