Simple McMuffin
Super Easy Homemade McMuffin Recipe
Start your busy mornings right with a delicious McMuffin ready in under 5 minutes. The combination of English muffins and fresh ingredients creates a wonderfully rich flavor.
Main Ingredients- 1 English muffin
- 1 frozen hamburger patty
- 1 slice of cheese
- 1 fresh egg
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- A little cooking oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare a 4-cup frying pan. Lightly grease the pan over low heat and carefully crack one fresh egg into one of the cups to make a round fried egg. Handle it delicately to avoid breaking the yolk.
Step 2
When the fried egg is almost cooked, place the frozen hamburger patty in the pan. If you’re using hamburger patties for the first time, you’ll find they’re delicious and don’t have any strong odors. Cooking over high heat can burn the outside while leaving the inside undercooked, so use medium heat and flip the patty several times until both sides are golden brown and deliciously cooked.
Step 3
Once the fried egg is done, place a slice of cheese on top of it. As the cheese begins to melt slightly, carefully place the nicely browned hamburger patty on top of the cheese.
Step 4
Now, prepare the English muffin. Cut the English muffin in half horizontally. Place the cut sides on a grill pan and toast lightly. If you don’t have a grill pan, you can use a toaster or toast them in a regular frying pan with a little butter; they will still be delicious. Toast until the muffin’s surface is slightly crisp for a better texture.
Step 5
Spread a thin layer of creamy mayonnaise on the inside of one of the toasted English muffin halves. I used Heinz Aioli Garlic Mayonnaise for its rich flavor, but feel free to use your favorite mayonnaise. This mayonnaise is also wonderfully delicious on sandwiches and toast!
Step 6
On the muffin half with mayonnaise, layer the prepared fried egg, cheese, and hamburger patty in order. Finally, place the other half of the English muffin on top to complete the sandwich.
Step 7
Now, lightly toast the assembled McMuffin in the pan or grill pan again. The outside will become crispy, and the cheese inside will melt beautifully, creating a perfect harmony of flavors. It’s best enjoyed warm. Your hearty and delicious McMuffin is now ready!
